New Year's 2009

Hello dear readers, dear friends.  What a year this has been, what a rare mood I’m in… why, it’s almost like it’s New Years!

Yes, it has been quite the year for our boy Dain.  Lost of theatre work, lots of fun with friends, lots of health issues (more on the cancer stuff later…), lots of visits with the family, lots of time spent with John.

And so it is the new year… a really magical time.  New beginnings, new dreams, new promises.  It’s all bright and shiny and fresh.  It’s the perfect opportunity for change.

And also a time for reflection.  What did we learn from last year?  What lessons can we bring with us to the new?  What should we have done differently?  Of what are we proud?  Which outfits worked?  Which didn’t?  Is taupe really the new black?  Will Dain ever cut his hair?  All of these thing must be pondered.

Our boy is embracing 2009…

…it should be an interesting ride!
